I've updated the menu on my web site (link below). It's supposed to work for all DHTML-capable browsers now...What I would like is for other people to just take a quick look and let me know how well the menu appears and works.

It works for me too.

Fine for me on Win2000 - IE5.5 - 1024 x 768

However, I would suggest spacing the links out evenly on the top bar. I assume designed in a smaller monitor where the boxes are the right length for the text, but on a larger screen I think they would be better with some sort of uniformity - especially amongst the smaller ones.

It works with my useragent:
Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.3a) Gecko/20021123

Works for me as well - on NT Server & Workstation - IE 6 (640 x 480, 800 x 600, 1024 x 768)

I do have a comment about the colour of the menu bar (and please bear in mind this is just from a personal point of view).

The colours seem bland (gray and white). I would have gone with something to perhaps mimic the colour scheme right after 'Price of Loyalty Expansion', in the POL logo.jpg.

But, as mentioned previous, that is just personal taste :)

No problems with Opera5, NN7, Moz1.2 and IE5 on Mac.
..and I think MajikDance is right about the colours of your menu.

It's also fine in win/ie4 and opera 7. But in Konqueror 2.2 the menus appear behind that large image.

Thanks for all the replies!!!

Just so you know, I created the site on my Windows 98 SE computer, testing in Internet Explorer 6 at 800 by 600 resolution.

I have no idea how to space out the links as was suggested- I didn't create the menu, I got it from DynamicDrive. Are you suggesting to center each of the items, or what? I think the cells are sized proportionally to the amount of text inside them. I don't really know enough Javascript or DHTML to be able to do much with changing the look of the menu. Does anyone have suggestion on what do to, code-wise?

As for the colors, as far as I can tell, I can only use 2 colors in the menu: the background (gray) and the text (white). Again, I don't know enough Javascript or DHTML to change the number of colors allowed. But maybe I can change the text color, if that's what you want?

Which image do you mean, the Heroes of Might and Magic logo, the shield, or the watermark?

Thanks for the comments, and please keep them coming!!

A somewhat related question: how does the text look on my site? Do you like the different colors for paragraphs, headings, lists, etc? Are the paragraphs and lists aligned left? I checked my site on a computer at school, and for some reason, everything on the page was centered. I previewed the site locally on my home computer, and it was fine. I wondered if it had something to do with different computers at different resolutions. Please let me know if you have any other suggestions for the look of my site.

The colours are fine, but the text is centered. You have a centered tag which is left open here:

<table border="0" width="90%">

You need to put the closing tag in before you open the other center tag.

The first CENTER centers the table on the page; the second CENTER denters some of the content (tutles, logos) inside the table cell.
