Just looking for some honest, constructive criticism. This is my 2nd design, 1st was another design for the same site that well... crap, to be frank. Hoping others agree with me that this one is good.
One main goal that I had with this design was to keep the images to a minimum, I think there are only a total of 6 (+ the comics) so I'll call that a success.

this... reminds me... of how my website looks like 9 years go on tripod(it was a comic site too). well erm, there isn't much content to look at.
First off, you can try placing some pictures on the header, perhaps a colored illustration with a name of your site on it. I see the scrollable div as the content area, this can be a little drawback because most people don't like the idea of an inner window, they prefer to use the default browser to scroll down any page.
As for the navs on the right side, the green effect as a 'on hover' should come with a brighter/alternative font color. here, when i hover, the green overlapse the black letters, makes it hard to read. Basically on hover is used to enable readers to hover and see the words on the navigation buttons more clearly.

Its alright. The effect when you click "Recent Comic" is very cool, but its kinda bad that you can't click any other links until you close that little layer popup.
Its empty, like that guy above me said.

The colors are good. I like the brownish background with the orange. It isn't too much of a contrast, but yet it keeps some brightness and energy to the page.
Yes, some small thumbnails of your art on the homepage would be good and help get viewers to go deeper into the site.
