Can anyone tell me if .NET supports PostGreSQL databases? Basically I am looking to build a site in ASP.NET and call a PostGreSQL database for different things, forum, image paths etc.... Do hosting companies support this setup?

Did you search Google (http://www.google.com/search?sourceid=navclient&ie=UTF-8&rlz=1T4GFRC_enUS205US205&q=asp%2enet+postgresql)? There is a wealth of information about integrating a PostgreSQL data with a .NET application. From that search results list, this (http://articles.techrepublic.com.com/5100-3513-6102826.html) looks like a pretty good place to start.

When you're using a database with .NET, you really just need to find out if the db has a .NET connector. Such a connector allows interfacing .NET code with that db system. MySQL, for example, has such a connector available. It's easy to use, since the classes, functions, and parameters are consistent with those of the connectors provided with .NET for SQL Server and Access.

I took a quick look myself, and PGSQL does indeed have a .NET connector. Just download it, add the dll to your app's /bin folder, and you can write your code.
