Flash Fade In

Hi everyone,

I'm not too sure why this is happening.

So, I created a Flash .fla file where I made some text fade in. I did this through motion tweening the Alpha property of the symbol. When I play this in the .fla file, it works perfectly. After I publish, both the .html and the .swf file do not have the tweening. The text is the same color througout the playback. No fading in whatsoever. Anyone knows what's wrong? Thanks.

We can't tell you what you did wrong without seeing the .fla file. We aren't psychic you know. Maybe this tutorial will help though.

The text doesn't fade when I preview it in Flash 8. I recommend you take a look at that tutorial I linked to.

Cool, thanks. I actually just redid the file entirely and it worked. Maybe the last file was corrupted. Thanks for the help, guys!

Curious...what was the font being used? Did you embed them into the file?
