Checkout these sites:

http://www.tizag.com/phpT/
http://devzone.zend.com/node/view/id/627
http://www.devarticles.com/c/b/PHP/

Google is a great resource too.

Good luck!

I would buy a php/mysql book such as:

http://ec2.images-amazon.com/images/P/0321186486.01._BO2,204,203,200_PIlitb-dp-500-arrow,TopRight,45,-64_OU01_AA240_SH20_SCLZZZZZZZ_.jpg

And download the php manual from php.net which has some tutorials.

I got that book when I wanted to start out with PHP. Brilliant book, I would recommend it. Good layout and detailed when it needs to be.
