Now() Date doesn't seem to work!!

I am using Now() to insert the current date into my date field and everytime it inserts the following value .... 0000-00-00

Anyone help?

Well you haven't shown us your table creation statement, I'll take a guess and say you are assigning a default value of '0000-00-00' which over rides any insert you do on the table.
