Now im sure we all know about the issue with IE & the annoying re-downloading of images, which continues to happen even after scripting a java image preloader.
Thing is, certain websites which seems to be using the exact same scripting, has no such problems. Websites im thinking of includes [MTV.com (http://www.mtv.com)] (braille animated-images), [Gamespot.com (http://gamespot.com/gamespot/filters/products/0,11114,371212,00.html)] (arrow in menu), etc..
How in the world did they do it?
The only way i can combat this problem is if i load something else in the same IE browser, & then press the "Back" button. I actually prefer this option, so is there a way to script a webpage (after loading all the images), to open a blank webpage & then go back?
Thanks in advance.
