How do U patch?

Hi,
I have a forums program and the upgrade uses a patch but I have not a clue where 2 start.

I do not know what a patch is never mind use one!

You should ask that on the support forums of the forum developer and not on this board. This board is for PHP development questions, not for forum support. Also it'll be different for each and every type of forum so it would be kind of difficult for us to help you out.

Wichetael is quite correct , you really need to supply more infomation else we have not a clue if/how we can help. if your forum is php based then this may be the correct forum but we won't know unless you tell us and yes the forum probably has its own support forum for such questions, though we are happy to try and help if you supply some information !
