Intellisense-like site scraping - Converting "a href"'s to something else?

I want to automatically replace all link tags with a custom function.

<a href="http://www.codingforums.com/">Coding Forums</a>

to

<? link('codingforums.com','Coding Forums'); ?>

Can anyone point me to a tutorial or help me through this?

You mean like have a php code change them dynamically? Or just replace all instances of "<a href=></a>" to your link thing?

If you just mean replace then use the notepad "replace" under the edit menu.

Yes, I need PHP to change them for me, so if I place a normal link in my HTML, it will convert it to what I put in the OP
