stunning realization that this probably belongs in server side forum, many apologies.
hey everybody.
I'm lookin into a bunch of E-commerce solutions type things, the whole ERP, CRM deals. And of course as always want to support the open source communities (and save some money in the process) rather than pay for dysfunctional proprietary stuff.
Right now im looking into apache ofbiz (http://incubator.apache.org/ofbiz/), and PHPpos (http://www.phppointofsale.com).
although the latter seems to be stagnant right now as far as development.
Hoping theres something that can handle the run of the mill stuff; one time, and reoccurring billing; customer management; inventory; financial reports etc. etc.
It be nice if it could also handle booking of spaces (scheduling)/ equipment rental, and different types of customers (as in membership).
on a side note, php/sql stuff is probably preferable as im most familiar.
I was just wondering if anyone has any experience with any solutions, and if there are and horror stories or words of praise that may lead me in a better direction. Thanks so much for anyone who weighs in.
