Hi

I'm trying to create an html email, by cutting and pasting the following into my email message ... however the recipient gets the mail with all the html tags... any ideas?

<html>
<head>
</head>
<body>
<form>
box1<br>
<input type="text" name="box1" size="50"><br><br>
box2<br>
<input type="text" name="box2" size="50"><br><br>
</form>
</body>
</html>

Thanks

I think you should check if you have included a header like

Content-Type: text/html; charset=UTF-8

rather than text/plain. If this is not the cause I don't know what the explanation is since I don't know anything about e-mail programs. Normally there would be some interface since one cannot expect people to type raw HTML.

Hi

How do I include a header with my email?

My email program allows for html, but it only has basic features and I can't put textboxes in which is why I'm using raw html.

Hope you can help

Hmmm... If you are using an e-mail program and composing an HTML e-mail it should automatically get the correct header. So you shouldn't have to worry about this.

You cannot just paste tags in the message body. In Thunderbird, if I choose Insert > HTML from the menu, I get a window where I can type in raw HTML tags. I'm not sure if Outlook has such an option.

You could try create your message in html, then open it in your browser, and then copy and paste into Outlook. But which program are you using?
