View Full Version : Oil Effect in Photoshop

I'm not the greatest whiz with Photoshop so I was wondering if anyone knew how to make an Oil-y looking effect. A link to a tutorial or just an explanation would be suffice.

I found three tutorials that might fit what you're looking for. In addition, I like using the Plastic Wrap filter to give a shiny effect to art. If you use the Plastic Wrap filter, you'll need to add noise to a solid color, or else have a graduated color; this filter doesn't work so well on solid colors.
