Hi

I recently downloaded an asp calendar from
http://www.asp101.com/samples/calendar.asp

The calendar is for my local golf club, everything works fine on my local pc but when it's live on the server the days do not match the months.

Here is a link to the site (this is not yet live for the golf club)
http://www.whittingtonheathgc.co.uk/calendar.asp?date=22/12/2006

You can see that Jan 1st is on a Monday this is correct but 1st of Feb is on a Tuesday this is wrong. On my local machine the days and the months talley up perfectly.

Any ideas??

Cheers

Even if Jan 1st is on a Monday, this is incorrect too.

Jan 1st = Mon
Feb 1st = Tue
Mar 1st = Wed
Apr 1st = Thu
May 1st = Fri
Jun 1st = Sat
Jul 1st = Sun
Aug 1st = Mon
.
.
.
Jan 1st = Tue
Feb 1st = Wed

If that program running fine with your PC, I believe the program is good. You may try to put your page to other asp server for testing. So that you are able to know where the problem is.

Try checking the locale of the server.
Start-->Settings-->Control Panel-->Regional & Language Settings

Hi

Thanks for your replies.

I uploaded the calendar to another server and didn't work on there.
Does anybody no why?, are there any other calendars out there which will work.

Cheers

Hi

Thanks for the suggestion mattboy_slim but that type of calendar is not what I'm after, I was pleased with the one I had but hey there you go.

I guess I'm gonna have to start again.

What is it that you need to do? I am currently implementing the calendar I suggested as an events calendar, with highlighted days, etc.

I've managed to sort it!

"Try checking the locale of the server. " You was right mattboy_slim all had to do was insert these few lines of code and it worked perfectly.

<%
'Set the server locale
Session.LCID = 1033
%>

Thanks for all your help.
