Making a Profile site :)

I'm going to make a profile site, but don't know where to start! Any help? Something like www.mingleville.com or www.ratedesi.com :)

1. open notepad or another text editor and create a list of every feature you want to offer
2. Design your mysql tables accordingly
3. Start Coding with something basic like the membership system, and then just move on from their.
