Hi All,

I'm new to this forum. I have an ASP.NET (built with VS2003 in VB.NET) application which also have some ASP pages (.asp). As per the project requirement, IIS is not allowed. So we started using Cassini web server inplace of IIS. Now the problem is that when I started accessing the .asp pages, I'm getting 'This type of page is not served.' error messge. Below is the full error message:

****************************************
This type of page is not served.

Description: The type of page you have requested is not served because it has been explicitly forbidden. The extension '.asp' may be incorrect. Please review the URL below and make sure that it is spelled correctly.

Requested Url: /AspTest/TestPage1.asp
********************************************

Can any one tell me that weather Cassini supports classic ASP pages"

Regards and thanx in advance.

Did you try Googling for an answer? I did, and this page (http://forums.asp.net/thread/1409347.aspx) in particular suggests the following answer:

Are you using IIS 6.0 under Windows 2003? If this is the case, verify on the IIS console under "Web Services Extensions" that "Active Server Pages" are allowed.
