I saw a wonderful effect on a certain website but I didn't take down the address. The effect is when a link is clicked the contents of the current page slide down out of the page and are replaced by the contents of the link you have clicked. I want to implement this effect on a site I have. Anyone who has the necessary javascript files and div tag design, please help me out. Thanks.

...just wondering whether what you saw was JavaScript or a Microsoft meta page transition (http://www.permadi.com/tutorial/iePageTransition/index.html) (view in IE). Which browser were you using?

Did the page actually slide down or was it 'wiped down'? In case it was a wipe down it could have been a meta page transition. For some reason I never see these tags used? Apparently they are not widely known and I only came across them myself by chance. It is only supported by IE... but anyway this is also the most common browser---and they only require one tag.
