Does anyone have any idea why my layout gets messed up in IE and Safari? It works fine in Firefox.

I would greatly appreciated any help. Thank you!

Basically, what you have is a 2-column layout using right floats with the left column being liquid. But in your document, the left column (which has a right margin) goes in before the right column.

It is unsafe to rely on that columns then are displayed next to each other since the specifications allow user agents some degree of freedom exactly how to lay out floats. What we are seeing is not a bug in neither IE nor FF.

There could be other issues, but most are resolved if you alter the sequence of floats to this (keeping your styles):

<div id="main-right">
...
</div>
<div id="main-left">
..
</div>

We are getting closer. Does Safari have a problem with displaying colors properly? Some of my colors on my layout are off. But they show up correctly in IE and FF.

Also, in IE, my right nav extends to far down the page. Is there a way to fix this?

Sorry for all the questions. I really appreciate the help! :)

Edit:

Here is a newer version..
