Hi all,
I notice that the latest MS windows updates include IE7 as standard. I recall that the beta of IE7.0 was riddled with bugs, particularly with the way in which it handled CSS.
Has anyone had time to have a good ol' bash at trying to break the official IE7 release? If so, what "funnies" have you noticed, if any? Does it fix many of the CSS non-compliance issues that FF has fixed? (e.g. min-height and min-width and omissions in the :hover pseudo class). I notice that it does hijack the web page's font settings if you enable the clear type option (although I don't know if that was present before because I never used it or looked for it!).
I've briefly looked at some of my own sites with IE7 and I've not yet seen anything to make my jaw hit the floor ... (the operative word here is "yet"!), but then my sites all run in non-quirks mode.
Mike.
