"do not crawl" script for search engines?

is there something where i can prevent my site from being indexed/crawled?

i do not want my page to be on google or anything.
but the problem is i cannot create a robots.txt so is there a way to do this through javascript or meta tags?

Why can't you?

You might try:

<meta name="robots" content="noindex">

Nothing says they have to obey, though. Some spiders will, some won't.
