font style

I'm trying to redo this menu but I cannot figure out the font, style, blending options, etc in PSD. Please explain how I can achieve the style there. "services" is my failed attempt.

what is it exactly that you are trying to do with it?

what program is that i've seen it before? is it photoshop or corel painter?

Looks like an emboss or inward bevel.

if you're trying to get the bevel to show in the text, try upping the size to 10 px. 2 px is small. try somewhere between 2 and 7 if you went any higher you would have to make your text bigger

sorry, forget the 10px part us the 2-7px in the size

I'm trying to make the font exactly as it is shown, except "services' was my doing which is not like the other menu text (hosting, company,etc)

This was a menu I took from a site, I'm trying to make it my own so I have to modify the text but I want the same font style/type. I cannot figure out what font or style to do! Its driving me crazy

hmm...? i can't find any font even close to that in notepad. it's not times or arial or courier

what operating system are you using? sometime mac os and windows have different fonts and sometime the same fonts look different on windows then they do in mac
