Readonly word on my form

I need to find a way to make a field in my form show as a permanent word so nobody can change the word on the form field.

This works in IE but not my Netscape 4.77 browser:

Anyway I could do this in Netscape 4.77???

Since Netscape 4 doesn't support "ReadOnly" you'll have to use something like this:

<input type="text" value="my permanent word here" size=28 Readonly="my permanent word here" onfocus="this.blur();">
