We have created a page which allows visitors to choose from a menu on the left and have either a picture or some text appear in a main content area. The main content area may need to expand to accept longer pieces of text. The site can be found here:

If the site is viewed in IE it works fine, and it worked in Firefox last year. This year however, the newer version of Firefox doesn't expand the content area. Would someone be willing to look at the code and offer suggestions? It would be greatly appreciated.

The external stylesheet can be found here:

and the id in question is titled #canvas

Thanks in advance for your help!!!

You need to remove the height from #canvas for it to expand. I don't think it ever worked in Firefox. You probaby never had an image that was large enough.

Thanks Aerospace.
We had the height set for #canvas because we wanted that to be the default, or minimum height. I thought that setting overflow to auto would then enable it to expand as needed, but that didn't work.

Do you (or anyone else) know why I can't set overflow to auto to fix the problem?

Thanks!!

You didn't even have overflow:auto; for #canvas when I looked at the CSS.
