Hello,

I would appreciate so much any help I can get. I've actually been done now for a while with this menu I tweaked from a freeware javascript web site. It is for a school project. I waited till the last minute to actually link the menu options because I figured that would take me 2 seconds. What I didn't consider is that I have to link them to an i-frame... the links are set up from the default javascript template so that it loads a new page. I don't know how to target to the i-frame because it is not like a regular html link.

Here is the link to where I got the javascript code: http://simplythebest.net/scripts/DHTML_scripts/dhtml_script_79.html

a portion of what probably needs to be edited in the javascript:
// MENU ITEMS //
// DUPLICATE THIS ENTIRE SECTION FOR MULTIPLE MENUS. PLEASE SEE THE INSTRUCTIONS FILE FOR DETAILS ///
var Menu1 = new Array ()
var subMenu1 = new Array ()

Menu1[0] = new Array("PlanMagic", "http://planmagic.com","_top", "left")
subMenu1[0] = new Array()

Menu1[1] = new Array("Business software", "http://planmagic.com/products.html","_top", "left")
subMenu1[1] = new Array()
subMenu1[1][0] = new Array ("Business plan", "http://planmagic.com/business_planning.html","_top")
subMenu1[1][1] = new Array ("Marketing plan", "http://planmagic.com/marketing_planning.html","_top")
subMenu1[1][2] = new Array ("Financial plan", "http://planmagic.com/financial_planning.html","_top")
subMenu1[1][3] = new Array ("Hospitality industry", "#808080","#FFFF88") //
subMenu1[1][4] = new Array ("Restaurant plan", "http://plan-a-restaurant.com","_top")
subMenu1[1][5] = new Array ("Bar business plan", "http://planmagic.com/business_plan/bar_business_plan.html","_top")
subMenu1[1][6] = new Array ("Bed & Breakfast plan", "http://planmagic.com/business_plan/bed_&_breakfast_business_plan.html","_top")
subMenu1[1][7] = new Array ("Hotel business plan", "http://planmagic.com/business_plan/hotel_business_plan.html","_top")
subMenu1[1][8] = new Array ("Resort business plan", "http://planmagic.com/business_plan/hotel/resort_business_plan.html","_top")

I've tried to put the i-frame name in to the "_top" area and it doesn't let me. I've also tried target="main" (the i-frame name is main) and that doesn't work because it turns the nav bar black.

Can anyone help me? Can anyone figure out how to make each link target to an i-frame. Please help!!! This is for a class project that is do in a couple days...
