Looking for study material (java)

Does anyone know of any good textbooks that would include in-depth beginners information on Portal and Portlet development? I have information on Servlets which are fairly similar but portals and portlets don't seem like they have made their way into many textbooks that I can find.

To be honest I haven't seen many good textbooks on java portlets. Most of what I've learned I've learned either through tutorials, experience or asking other programmers on different areas.

Amazon comes up with a flurry of books but only one or two of them are relevent and both are in the view of java experts which may not be what you're looking for.

If you do find a good book though let us know, I wouldn't mind a read.
