View Full Version : css help - Centering thumbnails

Hello folks,

I'm hoping some of you experts may be able to solve what is possibly a simple problem!

I'm no css expert, but I have managed to create a website using css for the layout etc. It is a photography site, and on the pages that display thumbnails, I can't get the thumbnails to display centrally. There are two rows of 4 thumbnails which I want to be centred, but they ar offset to the left. At a screen res of 1024x768 it's not too bad, but at screen resolutions higher than 1024x768 the problem is more obvious.

The page in question is here: http://www.starstonephoto.com/land1.htm

the css file is here: http://www.starstonephoto.com/style.css

I've tried a few things, but I just can't get the rows of thumbnails to display centrally. Can anybody point out where I'm going wrong???

Many thanks in anticipation!

try putting all thumbnails in a div-tag with the following css attributes:

.divContainer {
margin:0 auto;

Thanks bitbob! I'll give that a whirl this evening and see if it ends my misery!

Cheers! :thumbsup:
