php_self

hi, i have page with path like "history.php#mission"
however when i use php_self, it only returns "history.php" what shall i do? how to let the script return "history.php#mission"

Anchors are only used locally by the browser and aren't sent to the server, so you'd have to look at window.location in javascript and report back with AJAX or something.
