im having trouble problems downloading a program to my pc i keep getting a error message and i wanted to know if there another way i can install it

What operating system? Windows, Linux, Mac or something else entirely? This is one thing that would definitely help. Telling what version you are working with might help too (e.g. Fedora Core 6 (Linux) or Windows 2000 Professional or something like that).
The best suggestion I have to offer at this point is: make sure you have proper file permissions. In Windows and Linux, make sure you have an account which can install programs. I can't offer any other advice because I have no experience with anything other than Linux and Windows.

What would the actual error be and is it occurring during the download or during the installation?

im trying to install the kodak softare for my digital camera

and im using windows xp

yeah it after i install it and it says repair but even after i after i repair it it still doesnt work
