Print Quality for Logo and Image save as in PSP

Hi Guys

I use PSP 5 and by default the images are made as 72pixel/inch (or dpi??) I understand to print the logo on the Business card / Name card / visiting card or even on a letterhead, the image has to be minimum 300 dpi

Now in PSP 5 "image" --> "Resize" --> "Actual/Print Size" with resolution 300 pixel/inch and Smart size. --> "save"

Will this solve my problem or do I have to do something else to create a print quality image?

Your're best off using a vector-based program - like Illustrator or Freehand - to create logos...

But, if Photoshop (I'm guessing that's what you mean by PSP) is what you know, you should start with a new document at the size and resolution you need, instead of using Image Size...

I think he means Paint Shop Pro. Printing something with 72 dpi can produce a pixelated result (at least with my printer). Resampling the image to 300 dpi produces an smooth but also a bit blurry image.

The beter is have a high resolution image and reduce it to your needs: no loss of quality
