Just wanted your opinion guys on education as a learning tool in this environment. Unfortunatley i probably should have asked this before committing, but hey. My question is : Degree or no degree ? I have just started a 4 year course @ Teesside University (England) - called Web Development. I'm wondering if it was the right thing to do? Or would it have been best just to build up a quality portfolio? Arg ! :mad: Anyways... your opinions (as usual) will be greatly recieved. Thanks once again guys !

The field I believe is too new to determine whether there is a demand for degreed techs. Most now aren't degreed in web dev. I just saw a masters program offered in e-commerce and severly wonder if it's really necessary or will be in demand. :eek:
