I've spent over two days straight trying to add a 3rd column into an existing template for joomla.

I made a post over there, but nobody seems to know how to help... and I am under the gun on this one.

All I need to do is figure out why the menu and body content move around when the screen resolution and browser area change. Also I noticed at the bottom of the newsflashes, there is supposed to be a rounded corner. It only shows up in Internet Explorer. Firefox truncates the whole corner.

The site is here: http://www.pettibonemedia.com/poker/

This is my first post here so I don't know if I should be posting my source code or not. What is the etiquette on that around here?

Reading the Posting Guidelines (http://codingforums.com/postguide.htm) is a good place to start.

As far as your code, you can post it here in [ code ] tags (the "#" sign in the editor).

HELL, these are a lot of tables! Interestingly your site has only two (2) coding errors. :)
From what my web developer toolbar told me you need to set a fixed width to your #main table. The text stretching comes from everything being set to 100% width and the background image is just a fixed width.

As to the rounded corner at the bottom of the news flash: I can see it perfectly in my Firefox. I'm on a Mac but that shouldn't make a difference. Maybe it's a caching issue?
