Create a horizontal scroll site only

Can this be done and how? HTML....CSS?

You're gonig to have to be a little more specific, I think and also probably provide some markup examples perhaps.

If you specify a large width on an element it will scroll on the x-axis, also you might want to look into the overflow property (http://www.w3schools.com/css/pr_pos_overflow.asp)?

OH in the same vein as here, but just concerned with the horizontal scrolling aspect of the site only. Not its contents or graphics(though very cool).
