RewriteRule ^([0-9a-zA-z_]+) viewprofile.php?name=$1 [nc]
But it appears to not do anything, name turns out empty or something like that.
You're not entitled to one, and bumping a thread repeatedly certainly won't help.Originally Posted by thesavior
A-z is where the problem lies. You need a capital Z there.
RewriteRule ^([0-9a-zA-z_]+)$ viewprofile.php?name=$1
would probably work
Mind you: that's only the case if the .htaccess file is in the /users/ directory.
If it's in /, then it'd be
RewriteRule ^/([0-9a-zA-z_]+)$ viewprofile.php?name=$1
okay. Thanks alot, that works.
