Angry Apache SSH connection using Debian 8 & MySQL/PHP

So I have a usb that can live boot debian 8 however it doesn't have persistence so all files get deleted. Anyway, I download Apache using the following command

    apt-get install apache2

and straight after installation it was working on localhost however, I was wondering how do I get MySQL and PHP?

Besides that there is another problem. How do I connect to the server using SSH? From a different Linux computer? This is the command I typed

    ssh root@localhost

It responded saying Access Denied or something. I was logged into the root account.

Also later on I tried ssh root@myip and it just hanged so I type ssh -v root@myip and it showed that it takes forever to connect, after a few minutes it says connection lost, do I have to type my device's IP?
