    301 Redirect Help

I am moving servers from one domain to another. Both servers use wordpress. I have over 1000 posts and pages in the blog

I have looked around and i see that i can cherry pick and certain links and 301 them to new spot

My question, that i havent seen an answer for it this:

Can i cherry pick 10 or so links that get highest traffic to certain links on my new site, but ALL OTHER links use one specific 301, as i do not want to have to type up over 1000 posts

    redirect 301 /oldfolder/oldpage.htm http://www.yourdomain.com/newpage.htm

    to a new spot?

you can backup your old wordpress website and transfer it to your new wordpress site. Then using htaccess redirect generator, generate a 301 redirects all the pages.

Redirect old pages to their corresponding new pages. Use custom page if you want to use one specific 301 for other links. Use this tool http://seo-website-designer.com/HtAc...rect-Generator for bulk 301 redirection.
