    htaccess password problem

    Hi,

A quick question which I couldn't find the answer to on-line. My htaccess root directly password works on www.i3design.com but not i3design.com, http://www.i3design.com or any other variation.

Is there a way to sort this out?

    James

The trouble is, one www.i3design.com the password protection works, and lets me login. On i3design.com or http://www.i3design.com, it asks me to login over and over again, even when I type in the correct password.

It may be helpful for you to post the relevant parts of your .htaccess file (sensitive parts excluded, of course). My guess is this is some kind of domain identification problem -- you strictly specifying the www sub-domain but not the other versions.
Unless otherwise stated, any code posted is most likely untested and may contain syntax errors.
