    Trouble changing document root

    Hi,
I've been setting up apache on a vps, this is my first time and I've been learning the entire way.

My problem is, as default apache looks for the index.html file in /var/www/html/.

I've changed this to /var/www/mysite/ in the httpd.conf file on both the ServerName and Directory lines, but still it looks for the index file in /var/www/html/ and I'm presented with the apache test page even with an index file in /var/www/mysite.

So my question is, is this defined in another file?? Somewhere must still be telling apache to look to /var/www/html/ even though I've changed it in the httpd.conf file.

    Thanks in advance.
