some ip banning via .htaccess clarification.

i want to ban the munax crawler. it's becoming too stupid now. they set up their system to be seen as a regular user. it's on my site too frequently. with way too many instances. yesterday there were eight different "users" sucking bandwith. their range is 82.99.30.2 to 82.99.30.73.

what is the command to ban the range listed in one line?

i know how to ban one ip, (deny from xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx) but am unclear about a range. I guess it may be something like: deny from xxx.xxx.xx.xx/?? or the end bit [0..xx]*

oh, yeah they do not allegedly respect the robots.txt file so that route is useless - apart from that they are disguised as a real user.

    thanks,

    Code:
    deny from 82.99.30.0/25
    It's actually 82.99.30.0 - 82.99.30.127, but close enough.
