    Access Oracle DB using Ajax or JQuery

    Hi Peers,

    i need to know how to run a select query on button click event..
    i was told to use Ajax / JQuery to be able to have it done..

    Any help on that ?

    You'll always need an "intermediate" server side language to receive the Ajax request (sent by regular Javascript or jQuery), access the database and return a result to the calling script as output.

    Common server side languages are PHP, ASP, JSP, Python, Perl etc.

    Thanks for the quick reply..i am using CF as server side language.

    I could not get an example using Oracle ?
