    IE7 problem I think

    I've tested my site:
    http://www.iusedtoloveher.com/wheelofgod/

And it works when I click the link:
    Search Linking Passages

But the same is not true for IE7. I get:

Well In Firefox I see nothing at all when the page loads other than I am guessing it is your tables with background colors. No links, no content, no search.

Problem you have is you are trying to add a form inside another form which is invalid. If you remove the form from the new PHP page it should work.

The only one that should appear at first is the "select book" dropdown menu.

Again nothing shows up at all because you have a JavaScript error on the Firefox side:

    Code:
Error: Permission denied to call method Element.getAttribute
    Source File: http://www.iusedtoloveher.com/wheelofgod/
    Line: 61
Hope that you know that using JavaScript to load all of the content is going to kill you in Search Engines.

I think that has to do with the xml parsing. Firefox is showing:
Error: Permission denied to call method Location.toString
    But no more details.

It might have to do with:
    Code:
    blogXml.innerHTML+="<span style='font-weight: bold; font-family: Verdana, Arial, Times New Roman; border: 1px solid #BCB2B3; display: block; background-color:#7C7C7C; padding: 5px;'>"+ months[m] + " " + xmlDoc.getElementsByTagName(months[m])[i].getAttribute("date")+ ", " + xmlDoc.getElementsByTagName("year")[0].getAttribute("number")+"</span>";
    I removed the + from += . Try again.

In this case I think it's a good idea to have AJAX because it's a search engine mostly. I need the search and results together instead of going back and forth with the page.
