We've got a flex application that needs to issue a logoff request to the server once the application is closed. The flex app sets up an ExternalInterface to a Logoff function and in javascript, we've got a window.onbeforeunload set to a function which calls the flex method.
In firefox, I can see the flex method get called and the call goes through to the server, but when iexplorer is used, the debug shows that the call gets into flex, but the request never gets to the server. Does anyone see the same thing and knows how to solve the problem?
